FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings : FC Barcelona has played Girona FC on many occasions but after their 4-2 loss to Girona, in the La Liga league, we updated the players rating and share our view on the player’s stats and performance so far.

The match was a very interesting one as goals came in from Andreas Christensen and Artem Dovbyk barely four minutes into the match. Following the first goals, Robert Lewandowski also scored from the spot, getting his team to the lead before break time came.

At the start of the game, the match looked in favor of the Barcelona team, but just a slight mistake that came from Sergi Roberto made Girona FC begin scoring, and Portu took the lead by scoring two and rendering one assist within 10 minutes, bringing a 4:2 victory. So far this season, FC Barcelona has conceded two losses against Girona.

FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings

On a scale of 10, we carry out FC Barcelona versus Girona FC player ratings judging by their performance at the match, which ended 4:2 in favor of Girona.

1: We give Lamine Yamal 8.5/10.

Lamine Yawal did a very nice job for his team; he is our best player pick for Barcelona, starting with his goal assist to Christensen and the superb pass during the match, and not to forget that he was able to win the penalty that was converted by Lewandowski.

2: Next on the list is Andreas Christensen, and his rating is 7.5/10.

Andreas Duty performed well at the match, and he was the one who scored the first goal tactically. He was also up and actively mobile anytime needed, available in the midfield as required. His fault is just that he misplaced two of his passes.

3: FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings for Ilkay Gundogan

On a scale of 1 to 10, we leave Ilkay Gundogan at 7.5. His performance was decent, although he was not up and running with ball possession. He neared scoring, but it hit the woodwork, so we still rate his performance as decent.

4: Marc-Andre ter Stegen Rating

Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s performance was decent, but he didn’t really put in nice efforts into the game. He is not in any way blamed for the goals the club conceded, but fans believe that if he had put in more effort, the table would have turned around.

We won’t forget to mention his incredible saves, which, without them, may have made Barcelona’s performance worse.

5: FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings for Fermin Lopez

We noticed his efforts on and off the ball, and we rate him 7/10. He should get credit for that. He was even very close to scoring from a chance made by Yamal, but the ball unfortunately got over from close.

6: Robert Lewandowski is 7/10

With an average of 7/10 performance, we were not pleased with Lewandowski’s performance at the start and end of his match. The initial touches from him were not encouraging. We advise him to do better.

7: FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings for Raphinha

Rephinha is rated 6/10. He was an outlet who helped create a chance for Araujo, and the chance was solid enough to score.

8: FC Barcelona vs. Girona FC player ratings : Ronald Araujo is rated 5.5/10.

Ronald Araujo’s passes out of the backline were nice moves to begin attacks, but we kind of blame his faulty defending as part of the reason why the club conceded their first goal. What do you think?

9: Pau Cubarsi is rated 5/10.

We must first acknowledge that Pau Cubarsi made excellent distribution, but he made an error by letting the ball go away in such a dangerous position after Girona scored their third goal.

10: Sergi Roberto is rated 4.5/10.

Roberto was doing nice work at the midfield, but everything fluctuated after he gave away the ball to Dovbyk, and that eventually led to the first goal.

11: Pedri is rated 4/10.

Pedri had up to 20 minutes to change the narrative and make an impact, but sadly, he could not perform much.

12: Jules Kounde’s performance is 4 on a scale of 10

Kounde and the other back-four players performed poorly during the match. He gave away the ball without much effort, and he was not positioned well, so it was hard to balance up and play his wing.

13: Joao Cancelo is 4/10

Joao’s performance is almost the same as that of Kounder, and he left huge spaces, and one of the spaces made Girona score for the team.
