Back to school as Champions – Lucky LFC Mascot returns to school

Little Isaac had to take a good rest after the thrilling Liverpool victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, the 20th of April 2025. To prepare himself ahead of school, Isaac made sure he was fully ready, with classes resuming on Monday, 21st April.
Isaac had a truly unforgettable Easter holiday, as Liverpool FC finally clinched the Premier League title in spectacular fashion. A lifelong Liverpool fan, Isaac couldn’t hold back his joy when the final whistle blew, confirming their victory. To celebrate, Isaac proudly returned to school with a replica Premier League medal around his neck, beaming with pride.
Even before Liverpool’s title win, Isaac had been well-known among his classmates for bringing his plush toys of Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk to school and carrying them almost everywhere. His love for Liverpool FC was no secret. Months earlier, he had even been given the chance to meet his heroes Salah and Van Dijk during a surprise visit to his class — a day he would never forget.
When Mo Salah and Captain Virgil van Dijk walked into Isaac’s schoolroom, the excitement was electric. Isaac, completely starstruck, was left speechless, but the smile on his face said it all. Later, Isaac and his family were given a special tour of Liverpool’s training ground, making this Easter period a holiday to remember forever.
Isaac is a seven-year-old boy who has captured the hearts of Liverpool players, fans, and families worldwide. Born with a rare genetic condition called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, Isaac’s strength and passion for Liverpool’s songs and anthems have earned him over 500,000 followers on TikTok, where he joyfully strums a tiny toy guitar to LFC chants.
His rise to fame led Liverpool FC to invite him to be a matchday mascot, a dream come true for Isaac and his family. “It was an incredible honor,” Melissa said. “Something we will cherish forever.”
To cap off the holiday memories, fans across the world composed touching poems and messages for Isaac, including this one:
DEAR ISAAC
Dear little one from the Kop,
Do you know how much joy you bring non-stop?
These past few days, you lit up my feed;
Every Liverpool fan is happy to see a young heart lead!
In Anfield’s spirit, you find your might,
A Liverpool fan, with a heart so bright.
Though Wolf-Hirschhorn’s challenges you face,
Your strength and courage leave me in awe’s place.
Your smile, a beacon, shines through every test,
Inspiring all who see you doing your best.
With each small victory, our admiration grows,
In your eyes, a warrior’s spirit shows.
Through every step, fall, and rise,
You show us what true resilience implies.
Here’s to you, young Red, with love and cheer,
May your spirit flourish year after year.
Liverpool FC once again proved they are more than a club — they are a family.
