Isaac’s Been Struggling Lately… But We’re Still Sharing the Love – Family Shares

What was meant to be a joyful moment for Isaac and his family has turned bittersweet.

Earlier this week, the Kearneys received a beautiful, custom-made Diogo Jota tribute cake  a gift from @scousewayoflifecakes. It was almost too perfect to eat. As his mum put it, “I was absolutely gutted cutting this cake up. It looked too good to eat… But wow, it tasted just as good as it looked. Absolutely unreal!”

On a good note, Isaac was feeling a little better on the last day of the week (Saturday , 26th July). So his family went to the farm, Acorn Farm as they celebrated 40 years anniversary . That has also helped to put a fantastic day on for him.

The plan was to visit a local nursing home and share the cake with the residents over tea — a heartfelt gesture in memory of Diogo and in Isaac’s usual spirit of kindness. But sadly, things didn’t quite go as hoped.

Isaac has been under the weather. He’s been battling a vomiting bug, and more worryingly, he’s been in a lot of pain lately, struggling with his legs. Walking has become hard, and the discomfort is constant. His family has been doing all they can — soothing massages, plenty of rest, and medicine to ease the pain. But it’s been a tough start to the school holidays for their little warrior.

So, instead of the nursing home visit, the family made a quiet decision: they cut the cake at home and will be sharing it with close family members. Still spreading the love,  just in a different way.

A Little Boy with a Big Impact

If you’ve followed Isaac’s journey, you’ll know he’s not your average boy. He’s Liverpool’s little  ambassador, known for his endless smiles, touching videos, and deep love for LFC. From being named a judge at the Chester Raft Race to being gifted cakes and tributes from fans across the world, Isaac has become a symbol of joy, courage, and connection.

His warmth touches people everywhere. Fans have said he helps them cope with life, inspires them to think differently about disabilities, and simply makes their day brighter. And that’s exactly who he is — even on his hardest days, Isaac finds ways to bring people together.

Moments like this remind us that even when Isaac isn’t feeling his best, his spirit shines. Whether it’s a kind message from a stranger, a thoughtful cake in honour of a fallen Liverpool hero, or a quiet tea party at home — the love around Isaac never stops flowing.

We’re sending all our love and strength to Isaac and the Kearney family as they get through this rough patch. Here’s hoping for brighter days, pain-free steps, and more of that signature Isaac smile very soon.

Stay strong, champ. Liverpool stands with you always.
